An Arrest Is Not a Conviction
A booking or arrest entry shows an allegation and custody event, not guilt. A prosecutor may decline or change a charge, and a court may dismiss a case or find the accused not guilty. Old copies can also omit a later expungement or correction. Verify the final disposition with the Montgomery County Clerk of District Court, the creating law-enforcement agency, or Iowa DCI before drawing a conclusion.
Use a record as a lead, not a verdict. Only the office that maintains the source file can confirm its current content and public status.

Nothing published here is an official record. Court dates and case outcomes belong with the clerk. County custody and booking information belongs with the sheriff. Iowa compiled histories come from the Iowa Department of Public Safety, Division of Criminal Investigation. Registry information comes from the Iowa Sex Offender Registry. Certified or official copies must be obtained from those custodians.
